what happens when you're a growing 9 year old and you wake up at 5:30 a.m ........ you fall asleep at 6:30 p.m

yes we do.... we have Christmas spirit ... how about you!!!! Ok so we aren't done with the lights but it snowed and got REALLY cold!

When it snows......

were hung on the sweet new shelf/window molding that Josh built! I LOVE IT!!!


I'm grateful #27 for my house that I can decorate as I see fit!

Black Friday.....

was MADDNESS!!!!! Every year I ask myself why... then I get there and just look around and have myslef a giggle at some people and remember why!


I'm grateful #26 for great deals and low prices even if it comes at 2 a.m!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING......

to one and to all..... Did you eat a delicious meal surrounded by people you love, go for a walk in the cold singing and laughing all the way, eat some more, play some games, sing Happy Birthday and have some cake and ice cream or eat your m&m's with a spoon??..... Well we did!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KADIN!!! MY FAVORITE 9 YEAR OLD SON!! A totally awesomely busy day full of swimming (made some friends), presents, the "blizzard" that almost was and Thanksgiving dinner take 1
I'm grateful #24 for a great 9 year old son that is sweet, nice, helpful, able to make friends easily and practically perfect in everyway!!!

Staying home.....

and recovering sometimes means you have to miss a grizzlies game..... but the fun mommy kohen time makes it all worth it!


I'm grateful #20 to be able to spend one on one time with my little guy!

Over the freeway.....

and through the city.... to late night urgent care we go..... with a bad case of croup... but some medicine and a special prize and lots of love make it all better!!!

I'm grateful #19 for doctors that stay late so I dont have to make a trip to the ER

Bring it on......

pain and all...... Let the workouts begin!.... I think I can.. I think I can.. I think I can.......I think I have to... I just ate a bunch of cookies!!!!

I'm grateful #18 for workout equipment in my own home to have NO EXCUSES!!!!

you would think by the looks of it that this would last me forever but with 3 growing kids that just isn't the case... this is actually a quick trip to the store!

the viking man... he found a new hobby making viking shields.... pretty awesome if you ask me!

baby boy is becoming a BIG BOY!!! Welcome to the world of no more cribs and a big boy bed!

It's starting.....

to look and feel a lot like winter! And if you ask Ivy that means that Santa is coming!

Miss Ivy.... she has been feeling a little under the weather.... so no preschool and a trip to the doctor... and no strep!

I'm grateful # 8 for doctors that are able to know what is wrong with my kids when they are sick

sunday full of KFC and Ivy saying something I never planned on hearing when I would dream of having a family "Mom, Dad is licking the table!"

I'm grateful #7 for the little things my family does that make me laugh

Go Kadin go!.......

Go Kadin GO! ....... first hockey game of the season and it was a great one they tied 2-2! Not too bad for their first game playing full ice and full penalties!!

I'm grateful #6 that my son plays a sport I enjoy watching :)

drill at Kadins school which meant he got out 30 minutes early! He was excited!

I'm grateful #3 for parents that live so close and the great relationship they have with my kids!

Oh that......

2 year old of mine! He is just a tad bit OCD....and this is just one of the many ways I know... yes he put his shoes that way on his own, my other kids just leave them where ever they land.


I'm grateful #2 for my cute 2 year old boy that ALWAYS keeps me on my toes!
